SL-1: Photos and Videos Spaceflight Authentification Launch Date: 9/25/2006 Location: Spaceport America, NM Vehicle: SL-1 September 25, 2006 was our first attempt to send Antimatter™ and Space2O™ ingredients to space. Unfortunately the rocket, an UP Aerospace SpaceLoft XL vehicle (space mission name SL-1) experienced an anomaly shortly after launch and failed to make it to space. While we were all disappointed, we were not surprised. Getting to space is still a difficult task and we knew this was a possibility. So we headed out to the desert to help UP Aerospace recover what was left of their vehicle and began planning for the next launch. 				The launch started off well — 9 seconds later the corkscrew rotation began causing the crash.
